What is Microneedling with PRP?
At Seven Heart Medspa, our team understands the effectiveness and complexity of holistic, regenerative methods that allow your body to heal and repair itself and produce wonderful outcomes in the process. One of the techniques we perform to encourage your skin to restore and improve itself is microneedling with PRP, a treatment that utilizes microneedling approaches paired with growth factors harvested from your own blood. Microneedling is a precise skin care procedure that uses an advanced pen-like device to create tiny punctures in the skin to promote natural healing. From there, a PRP-based serum is prepared and smoothed onto the surface of your skin to add additional benefits.
When combined, this dual-procedure can reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines, wrinkles, spots, large pores, and other imperfections. The texture of your skin can be significantly enhanced to look and feel smoother and more even without damaging the epidermis. If you would like to learn more about microneedling with PRP, reach out to a member of our team and schedule your consultation at our Las Vegas, NV office.

"Jamie at Seven Heart Med Spa was so helpful, she answered all the questions I had about Microneedling! It was my first time so I was super nervous. I will be returning for the second & third session & I am not worried at all. I’m actually excited, I’ll also be getting some facials done soon as well 😊"- R.H. / Facebook / Nov 17, 2020
"I just completed my third micro needling today with Jamie. Now after the first treatment I saw very little difference .I went in with high expectations after reviewing multiple videos on line of before and after. However on the second and third session I saw a complete difference in my skin. Not only was i pleased with the results but also the amazing customer service that Jamie provided . She walked me through every step and gave me great advice for the recovery process. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone!"- K.H. / Yelp / Jul 15, 2021
WHO CAN HAVE MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP?
An ideal candidate for microneedling with PRP would be anyone seeking to change the look or texture of the surface of their skin. Dry skin, uneven skin tone, rough texture, age spots, loose skin, wrinkles, acne, and scarring are skin conditions that could benefit from a microneedling with PRP therapy. This treatment can also be used to help fight the effects of sun damage that may have caused your skin to have a rough feel or hyperpigmentation. To determine if a microneedling with PRP treatment is right for your skin's needs, you will need to attend a one-on-one with a member of our team. During this consultation, we will assess your skin using Emage's Image Pro 3D® to look for any additional issues and evaluate their severity.
HOW IS IT DONE?
Prior to the microneedling portion of your session, a member of our medical team will take a sample of your blood for the PRP collection. The drawn blood will then be taken to our lab for the separation process, during which the platelets, growth factors, and viable cells can be condensed into PRP. For your microneedling therapy, Seven Heart Medspa employs state-of-the-art technology to create small holes in your skin. The small needles used will not harm your skin; instead, they will help stimulate the production of collagen. Once the microneedling is finished, the PRP serum will be placed on the skin to sink in. After the PRP is fully absorbed, we will clear away the serum and cleanse the skin.
RESULTS AFTER MICRONEEDLING WITH PLATELET-RICH PLASMA
After your microneedling with PRP treatment, you may experience some normal side effects, such as swelling, redness, and bruising. We recommend that patients avoid the use of makeup, exfoliating skin cleansers, or swimming in pools for around three days after their microneedling and PRP session. Activities like this can expose the treatment area to strong bacteria and chemicals, which could lead to negative reactions. You should also minimize exposure to the sun or use protective steps when planning to be outdoors. Final results are typically seen within the first month as the skin works to repair and heal itself.
REGENERATIVE TECHNIQUES FOR YOUR SKIN
Microneedling with PRP can be very beneficial for individuals looking to restore the original appearance and texture of their skin. Microneedling can help make skin appear younger, smoother, more luminous, and firmer. We urge patients to find out more about this therapy by speaking to a skilled member of our skin care team or by setting up a consultation at our Las Vegas, NV practice today.
